in some cases they are related to government stuff, so yes there is a gun
in some cases it's indirectly related to government stuff because I need a bank account, or because I have to be able to pay my electricity bill
in other cases it's just because I have to park my car
the less bad of the cases is whether I want to be a member of any meatspace community in my town or meet anyone ever
so I guess you can blame me for being a pussy that can't give up my apps because I'm not really forced to use them, I could in theory abandon society and go live in a desert somewhere and hope they wouldn't catch me
