I've heard about DM problems in Nostr. Apparently , you need a dedicated relay for them. What I said was that I suddenly remembered that friend gifted me Bitwig 8 Track Legacy a couple of years ago. I've now activated it in Linux Mint. Any quick start tips?

I first came across the Gene Keys a couple of years ago. I didn’t approach it with great expectations. I’d had a reading decades earlier—when I was 16—from a well-known trance medium, and much of what she said had stayed with me. It was uncanny, and it prepared me for a life that never quite followed the usual script. But I never really had a language for any of it until I found this system.
The Gene Keys didn’t give me answers in the way I expected. They gave me a mirror.
I’m a musician, and former Yoga Nidra Facilitator and for most of my adult life, someone who struggled to make a living from any of those things. I carried guilt about that for a long time. I raised a family of five, often with the help of state benefits, and I often wondered if I’d somehow failed. A well-meaning friend once suggested I might be “work shy.” That comment stayed with me longer than I’d like to admit.
But when I looked at my Gene Keys profile, something shifted.
I’m a 4/6 Profile—the Opportunist and the Role Model. That explained so much. My life has always been relational. Opportunities came through people, not through plans or ambition. In some way, it looks like I’ve been a “gathering point” for others, often without trying—but I never knew how to turn that into conventional income. And the 6th Line showed me that my first fifty years were never meant to be about building or accumulating. They were about falling, observing, learning, and digesting. Now, I don’t see that as failure. It was preparation.
My Life's Work is Gene Key 45, the Hub—which speaks to a natural tendency to gather people, not through effort, but simply through being present. My Evolution is Gene Key 26, the Artful Communicator, which has taught me something about timing: when to speak and when to stay silent, when to step forward and when to step back. My Radiance is Gene Key 22, the Emotional Antenna. I feel things deeply, and that can be tiring, but it's also opened up a kind of quiet connection with others that I don't take for granted. My Purpose is Gene Key 47, the Alchemist—which, for me, has shown up as a slow, steady ability to transform old pain into something quieter and more meaningful over time.
My Incarnation Cross is the Left Angle Cross of the Alpha. That sounds grand, but what it really means is that I’m here to inspire by letting go—to guide by releasing, not by controlling. That’s not a role I ever sought, but looking back, it’s been the thread running through everything.
The most healing part of the Gene Keys work, for me, was looking at my relationship with prosperity. I had never been able to generate a steady income from my gifts, and that has been a source of guilt for decades. The system didn’t promise me wealth. It didn’t offer a formula. But it helped me see that the way I receive support has always come through other people—often unexpectedly, often at the last moment. It’s never been reliable in the conventional sense, but it has been there. And that pattern, which I used to see as a weakness, I now recognise as part of my design.
I had a sister who once wrote in a birthday card that I had been a guiding light in her life. A friend had a t-shirt printed for me that said he was grateful for “all this spiritual stuff” I had introduced him to. Those words meant more to me than any professional accolade. They weren’t about what I’d achieved. They were about who I’d been. And they helped me see that my value had never been measured by my income.
I've also experienced moments of unexpected support when I needed it most—not because I asked, but because something in the connection moved someone to offer. I don't claim to understand why. I've learned to stop trying to force outcomes and to trust that the pattern has held me so far. That doesn't make life easy. It doesn't make me wealthy. But it does give me a strange and persistent kind of peace.
The Gene Keys didn’t change my life. They reframed it. I stopped trying to be something I wasn’t. I stopped apologising for not fitting into systems that were never designed for me. I began to see my life not as a series of failures, but as a slow, unfolding fulfilment—on a timeline that made sense only from a distance.
I’m not here to convince anyone of anything. I’m not here to promote a system or to suggest that it will fix anyone’s circumstances. But for me, it offered something rare: a language for what I had already lived, and a permission to stop struggling with who I am.
I still make music. I occasionality facilitate Yoga Nidra. I still don’t earn much from any of it. But I don’t carry the same weight of guilt. I’ve come to trust that the people who are touched by what I offer are part of a different kind of economy—one that doesn’t show up on a bank statement.
If you’ve ever felt like your gifts don’t translate into conventional success, or like your life doesn’t fit the standard template, I’d gently suggest that you might just be operating in a different currency.
The Gene Keys don’t solve everything. They don’t offer easy answers. But they can, if you let them, hold up a clear mirror—and sometimes that’s enough.

One of the applications of releasing is dissolving resistance to goals. And it's very simple - deceptively simple.
Let me explain.
When we have a goal, we tend to fight ourselves unconsciously. There's almost always a belief getting in the way.
This comes from wanting. Sounds strange, doesn't it? Well, if you think about it, when we want things, it means that we don't have them - there's an unconscious sense of lack.
When we go for goals from a place of equilibrium - free from attachment to any particular outcome, we're free from wants that get in the way.
The most basic wants are the need for approval, control, security and survival.
When we release these wants, there is a tendency or a greater possibility for our goals to become realized.
Ultimately, when you fully let go of all these wants I've listed, there will be no need for goals in the same way that you once thought there was.
At that point, goals will arise spontaneously from your sense of peace or equilibrium.
In the next post, we'll look at attachment, aversions, and polarities.

The Mechanism of Letting Go
Letting go involves being aware of a feeling, letting it come up, staying with it, and letting it run its course without wanting to make it different or do anything about it. It means simply to let the feeling be there and to focus on letting out the energy behind it.
The first step is to allow yourself to have the feeling without resisting it, venting it, fearing it, condemning it, or moralizing about it. It means to drop judgment and to see that it is just a feeling. The technique is to be with the feeling and surrender all efforts to modify it in any way.
Let go of wanting to resist the feeling. It is resistance that keeps the feeling going. When you give up resisting or trying to modify the feeling, it will shift to the next feeling and be accompanied by a lighter sensation. A feeling that is not resisted will disappear as the energy behind it dissipates.

Scarcity is *mind* made.
The realisation of this is utilised by those who are greedy and controlling (the route of which is fear).
We are innately sovereign - and have dominion. But if we point the finger of blame and make "them" or anything external the source of scarcity, we forget this - making ourselves their victims.

Arthur Edward Waite was a British poet and scholarly mystic who wrote extensively on occult and esoteric matters. He was a Freemason, as well as being a member of the SRIA and Golden Dawn, and spent most of his life in or near London, connected to various publishing houses and editing a magazine, The Unknown World.
He also co-created the very popular Rider Waite Tarot Deck.

For various reasons, I've given up writing Ambient music.
I'm having fun singing, accompanying myself on piano and guitar, and narrating.
Maybe I'll go back to songwriting - rewinding the clock 30 years or more.

The so-called thinking of the ego-mind was so tyrannical that its use throughout your lifetime deadened many of your feelings. It led you so far from the truth that you no longer trust in it. You congratulated yourself on having the discipline required to train your mind to focus and to learn, or shamed yourself when you were unable to do so. To those most skilled in this training of the ego-mind worldly rewards have long been given. These people attain degrees and skills and then further apply the discipline that they have learned by using their skills and knowledge in the world for even greater rewards. These rewards have further emphasized the importance of such focused thoughts and thus further entrenched the ego-mind. To think that you could learn the truth of who you are through these same means was the fallacy that the early teaching of A Course of Love sought to dispel.
