Spent 2 hours cajoling an LLM to give me a 1 line fix instead of a 600 line diff.
You still have to have some programming taste to produce maintainable code bases with LLMs and call it out on BS.
That said if you asked me if I believe that there will be a model release that can correct all the slop eventually I’d say yes.
Still a bit of a gamble but people will be in disbelief when it happens.

I was planning to use them for the blockstream dice roll seed phrase determination. I performed then deleted the claude chat on my work machine don’t have access but from memory the “good dice” were not even spreads but acceptable. There were definitely higher counts for certain numbers. Not where you source pre tested dice but….

I just rolled 2x 16 sided dice + 1x 8 sided dice 300 times and fed the results in to Claude.
Apparently one of the 16 sided was biased and the final comment on the others was “you’ll be fine using them for a game but you’ll need to perform 500 more rolls if you want to be sure for anything important”
